Friendship Cup (フレンドシップカップ Furendoshippu Kappu) is a tournament held in the Synchro Dimension mentioned in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V. The tournament is said to have made Jack Atlas the current Duel King.[1]

The name of the tournament is likely a reference to the Fortune Cup tournament in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's that formed a major story arc in the first season. Another similarity is the fact that Yugo, Dennis and Shay want to compete in such tournament for the chance to Duel against Jack, albeit for different reasons[2][3], as well as the main protagonist of each tournament's respective series being personally invited by the head of Security after escaping from prison.[4]

Requirements

Within the Underground Dueling Arena, defeating 10 people in a row allows one to participate in such tournament.[5] Alternatively, one can also sign up by filling an application sheet, which apparently needs to be approved by Jean-Michel Roger[6], though Jean may also invite people he deems worthy himself.[4]
