| Can search ANY "[[Yang Zing]]" card upon its Summoning, and due to the wide variety of Levels the "Yang Zing" monsters share, it can function as almost any necessary Tuner, while sending "[[Chiwen, Light of the Yang Zing]]" to the Graveyard to easily activate its revival effect. In addition, if it leaves the field it Special Summons another "Yang Zing" from the Deck, extending the chain of defensive monsters or Synchro/Xyz/Link Materials. Also, unlike the others, neither effect can never miss their timing, leaving few options open for the opponent to stop them from activating.  This card is Limited in the OCG.

| Summons a Token when it leaves the field, and can be revived quickly after that for one Tribute, which gives easy Synchro or Link Material. One of the cards of choice to summon [[Crystron Needlefiber]], which generates easy card advantage and can bring out a Synchro Tuner on top of that. This card is Unlimited in the TCG.

| Sets an opponent's monster when it's Normal or Special Summoned, and can be Special Summoned during either player's turn by banishing 7 other cards from your Graveyard, field, or hand, which is abusable in Infernoid or Lightsworn Decks since they can easily get lots of cards into the Graveyard. Can even be used multiple times per turn. This card is Unlimited in the TCG.

Can even be used multiple times per turn. Combos well with [[That Grass Looks Greener]] for this very reason - banish what you don't need anymore, and use Snow as material again and again, shutting down Effect Monsters in the process. The advent of Links was mixed for Snow; Links can't be Set, but their overall generic nature made the revival effect even more potent. This card is Unlimited in the TCG.

| [[Plant]] Decks were still topping after being hit format after format, Konami must have decided to finally kill them. Extremely consistent in Synchro Decks. Easily recyclable through its own effect, but the effect can only be used once per Duel. This may have also been a hit to Future Fusion FTK Decks (though Future Fusion was Forbidden, and then errata'd to make it slower). Came back to 3 since Plant Synchro Decks are no longer viable in the current metagame.
+
| Easily recyclable once per Duel through its own effect, allowing it to work as material for 2 separate Synchro, Xyz, or Link Summons as desired. Self-mills as well as reviving. Can be used in the classic Plant Synchro engine, in Extra Link turbo, and was also used in [[Future Fusion]] OTK decks (though that's no longer as fast due to Future Fusion's errata).

| Splashable Level 3 monster with a good effect. Can send any Level 4 or lower monster from your Deck to the Graveyard when Normal Summoned, and lets you draw a card when it dies in battle. Combos well with Shaddoll monsters or with [[Felis, Lightsworn Archer]] to easily Synchro Summon [[Black Rose Dragon]] or [[Arcanite Magician]].

List

Due to an issue with displaying the list from another page, I have moved the list to the main page, and all discussion will now have to take place in the current discussion page (see below). Thank you for your understanding. --VictoryViperXX03

In case someone somehow missed it. Click "Show" on the right side of the bar.
This list is for the people who are curious about why certain cards are banned/limited.
This list can also assist people before posting a prediction on the next banlist.
Please help out by pointing out changes that should be made in the list (if any) (please include reasons).
And for those who are wondering. No, I didn't make this list recently. It been on 2 other forums before. This is the most updated version of it as the other 2 aren't being updated.
