Shining Draw (シャイニング・ドロー Shainingu Dorō) is an ability performed by denizen of Astral World in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime that allows the Duelist to create a card.

Story

Shining Draw was first seen in episode 24 inside the Emperor's Key whereas Yuma and Astral utilized the power of ZEXAL giving them the ability to perform the Shining Draw to create "ZW -" monsters that can be equipped to "Number C39: Utopia Ray". The cards are created with the effects needed to counter whatever the opponent has out. ZEXAL II, as well as ZEXAL III, also retains the ability to perform the Shining Draw.[1][2]

Yuma utilizes the power of Chaos to perform a Shining Draw.

During Legendary Number War arc, Eliphas a denizen from Astral World demonstrating Shining Draw in duel against Yuma. He asserted that Yuma cannot use this power unless he becomes combines with Astral through ZEXAL Morph since Yuma is not an Astral World denizen[3] Surprisingly, Yuma was able to utilize the power of Chaos to perform a Shining Draw in order to create "Rank-Down-Magic Numeron Fall" and transform "Number 39: Utopia" into "Number 39: Utopia Roots" which defeated Eliphas.[4]

Dark Draw (ダーク・ドロー Dāku Dorō) is an ability that is counterpart of Shining Draw granted by Dark ZEXAL to create a "DZW -" monster that can be equipped to "Number C39: Utopia Ray V". "Chimera Clad" granted "Utopia Ray V" the ability to prevent itself from being destroyed in battle, as well as doubling its ATK and allowing it to attack again.[5]
