Design
Appearance
Asaka closely resembles Asana Mutsuba from Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS. She is a slim pale skinned girl with mauve eyes and grey hair that passes her shoulders. Similarly to Asana, Asaka dresses in a style based on equestrian riders, wearing a short white coat with silver buttons, a white collared shirt with a red cravat and a gold brooch in the shape of the Mutsuba Heavy Machinery logo, a black waistcoat, white riding pants, white gloves, and black heeled boots.
In the second season, Asaka wears a sailor fuku uniform: a white blouse with a blue collar tied at the neck by a red ribbon, a pleated blue skirt, and calf-length white socks with white shoes.
Biography
Asaka makes her official appearance during Zuwijo zir Velgear's invasion of Mutsuba Town, during which she receives a direct report from Tell Kawai and proceeds to provide assistance to Yudias Velgear.[1] She reappears again shortly after London Kirishima and Netsuzo Shinjitsu steal a UTS spaceship, using her Heavy Cavalry to catch Yuamu Ohdo who fell off the spaceship as it was mid-flight.[2]
After learning about the impending arrival of the Great King of Terror and gaining access to the spaceship that was hidden below Mutsuba Town, Asaka takes control over the city and forces Velgearians inside Valvelgear into manually generating power for space flight, putting her at odds with Yuhi Ohdo.[3] She was also present for the Friendship Rush Duel Tournament, but did not directly participate.
In the second season, Asaka is banished to the Alien Residential Area by MIK due to her affiliation with aliens, where she remains for two years. After MIK takes out Yuna Goha, she sets up a resistance group and raids MIK headquarters as an attempt to buy time for Yuamu and Yudias to infiltrate the Goha Corporation building. While Asaka and her team were successful in stalling for long enough for Yudias to pick up a Maximum Monster, she ends up being taken out by Energy Copyko.[4]
Deck
Asaka uses a Demolition Deck, comprised of FIRE Wyrm monsters and based on a strategy revolving around Normal Monsters. Her ace monsters have powerful effects to destroy her opponent's monsters and inflict damage for each monster they destroy, which she backs up with Equip Spell Cards.
