Dreams, known in Japanese as Illusion Magic (げんそうま Gensōma) in Duel Monsters II: Dark duel Stories through Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelist and Illusion (げんそう Gensō) in The Sacred Cards and Reshef of Destruction, is one of the four Magic Alignments. It is based on the Illusion Type (which is also called "Illusion Magic" in Japanese). It is strong against the Dark Alignment and weak against the Fiend Alignment.

Monsters of this Alignment tend to be surreal, from another dimension ("Dimensional Warrior"), illusory ("Talons of Shurilane"), tricksters ("Genin"), or manipulators of illusions ("Illusionist Faceless Mage"), sleep ("Invitation to a Dark Sleep"), etc.
