Magical Knight (
Thematically, the Magical Knight Type appears to be a combination of the Spellcaster and Warrior-Types, but some monsters of this Type do not use those Types as Fusion Material, instead listing a non-humanoid monster as material that acts as the Fusion Monster's mount.
Trivia
- A "Magical Knight" Type appeared in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 37: "To the Death!!", when Seto Kaiba describes Dark Yugi's "Gaia the Fierce Knight" as the "strongest card in the Magical Knight Type". Viz Media translated this as Warrior for the manga's English release, and when "Gaia" was printed in the OCG, its Type was changed to Warrior. This appearance seems to be unrelated to the Rush Duel Type, however.
- That being said, this would later be homaged through "Gaia the Battle Ruler", a fusion of "Gaia the Fierce Knight" and "Curse of Dragon", which is Magical Knight type.
