Illusion (
The Illusion Type is based on the Illusion Magic Alignment, originally used by Maximillion J. Pegasus in the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga and subsequently implemented in some early video games, where it was localized as either "Illusionist" or "Dream". It generally included surreal entities such as mythical creatures, reality warpers, and hypnotists. The Type was also assigned to "Dragon Capture Jar" and "Dragon Piper" in Bandai's card game, both cards used by Pegasus.
All Illusion monsters currently released in the OCG/TCG share the effect that no monster can be destroyed by a battle involving them (including themselves) and the featuring of the Eye of Wdjat in their artwork.
