Mr. Morita is a character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! second series anime. He is a teacher at Domino High School. In the English dub, his role is changed to a soccer coach.
Biography
When Yugi Muto had his Millennium Puzzle stolen by Bandit Keith, who was possessed by Marik Ishtar, Téa Gardner ran to school to get Joey Wheeler and Tristan Taylor to help Yugi. As the three of them left school, they were confronted by Morita, who said that they three of them should be in class. (In the English dub, he said that they promised to help at the soccer game.) Tristan lied that Yugi was very sick and wanted to see them. (In the English dub, he said that they needed to take Téa's cat to the vet.) Morita bought the lie and let them go.[2]
