Prediction Princesses and Tindangles: Anime-originated archetypes that strongly support Flip monsters.
- Both archetypes originated in the anime: Prediction Princesses were used by Mieru Houchun, Tindangles by Akira Zaizen.
- Both archetypes also support a type of monsters/summon mechanic: Prediction Princesses support Ritual Monsters, Tindangles support Link Monsters.
- Coincidentially, both Ritual Monsters and Link Monsters are blue-colored.
- Both archetypes consist of monsters of a single type: Prediction Princesses are Fairy Monsters, Tindangles are Fiend Monsters.

Krawlers and Shaddolls are Archetypes that give some support to Flip monsters.
- Both archetypes are part of a larger storyline: Krawlers are part of the World Legacy storyline, Shaddolls are part of the Duel Terminal storyline.
- Both archetypes also support a type of monsters/summon mechanic: Krawlers support Link Monsters, Shaddolls support Fusion Monsters.
- Coincidentially, both have a sub-series of boss monsters of that type: X-Krawlers and El Shaddolls, respectively.
