The Millennium Ring merchant was a character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime. He sold the Millennium Ring to Bakura's father.
Biography[edit]
Bakura's father encountered the merchant at a bazaar in Egypt. The merchant sold him the Millennium Ring and the Duel Monsters card, "Seven-Armed Fiend". His eyes glowed red during the transaction. According to Bakura Ryou, the man was from the Shadow Realm (闇の世界 Yami no Sekai). (In the English dub, Bakura did not mention the Shadow Realm and instead said that the merchant claimed the Millennium Ring was connected to Duel Monsters, which confused Bakura as the Ring seemed to be much older.)[1]
