The following is a list of cards based on scenes from the various Yu-Gi-Oh! anime/manga series. This includes cards whose artwork strongly resembles the visuals of certain shots/panels, or rearranges elements that were present in a scene from a new perspective.

This list does not include monsters whose pose is based on a panel or scene in which they appeared in, but does include OCG/TCG-original monster cards that were based on monsters as they were seen in certain scenes.

• "Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon", based on the English dubbed version of Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 167167: "Flight of Fear - Part 2" where "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" is equipped with "Tyrant Burst Dragon".
• "Dark Master - Zorc", based on the appearance of Dark Master Zorc during the Monster World arc in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 56: "Millennium Enemy 7: I'll Fight Too!".
• "Detonating Kuriboh", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 131 (Duelist Duel 72): "Attack of Chaos" and Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 03939: "Yugi vs. Pegasus: Match of the Millennium, Part 5" where "Thousand-Eyes Restrict" absorbs the multiplied "Kuribohs".
• "Double-Headed Dino King Rex", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 131 (Duelist Duel 72): "Attack of Chaos" where Dinosaur Ryuzaki's "Two-Headed King Rex" destroys Jonouchi's "Baby Dragon" by battle.
• "Egyptian God Slime", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 271 (Duelist Duel 212): "Immortal Wall!!" where "Metal Reflect Slime" transforms into the likeness of "The God of the Obelisk".
• "Electric Jellyfish", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 72 (Duelist Duel 13): "Attack from the Deep" where "Jellyfish" was able to absorb the electric attack of "Feral Imp" equipped with "Horn of the Unicorn" and becomes stronger in the process.
• "Enraged Battle Ox", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 228 (Duelist Duel 169): "The Death of Obelisk?" where the ka of "Battle Ox" is summoned by Priest Seto.
• "Gate Guardian of Thunder and Wind", based on the appearance of "Gate Guardian" after "Suijin" is destroyed in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 97 (Duelist Duel 38): "The Final Card" and Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 02121: "Double Trouble Duel, Part 3".
• "Illusionist Faceless Magician", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 62 (Duelist Duel 3): "Countdown!!" in which Pegasus equips "Illusionist Faceless Mage" with "Eye of Deception" for a combination attack.
• "Legendary Dueling Field" is a stylized version of the Domino City Plaza where the Battle City tournament kicks off in the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga, anime and video games.
• "Mystical Elf - White Lightning", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 76 (Duelist Duel 17): "The Legendary Dragon" where Yami Yugi attacks Ventriloquist of the Dead using "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" while strengthened by "Mystical Elf".
• "Red-Eyes Soul", based on the appearance "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" after losing its wing from the attack of "Rocket Warrior" in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 195 (Duelist Duel 136): "Yugi Fights Alone" and Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 07676: "Friends 'Til the End, Part 2". The artwork is taken from Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 260 (Duelist Duel 201): "Red Spirit", specifically from the panel depicting the sudden appearance of "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" due to the effect of "The Flute of Summoning Dragon".
• "Silent Magician LV8" (second artwork), based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 342 (Millennium World Duel 64): "The Last Gamble!!" where it attacks Dark Yugi directly, using the same color scheme as the anime version of "Silent Magician LV0".
• "Union Controller", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 252 (Duelist Duel 193): "Sky Duel Coliseum!", where "Enemy Controller" takes control of "X-Head Cannon" from Dark Yugi's field.

• "Attack the Moon!", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 72 (Duelist Duel 13): "Attack from the Deep" where "Giant Soldier of Stone" is switched into Attack Position to attack "Mystical moon".
• "Bingo Machine, Go!!!", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 203 (Duelist Duel 144): "The First Enemy!", where Isono unveils the Ultimate Bingo Machine to determine the matchups for the Battle City finals.
• "Card of the Soul", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 327 (Millennium World Duel 49): "I Won't Give Up!!" where Yugi draws "Gandora the Dragon of Destruction".
• "Corrosive Scales", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 68 (Duelist Duel 9): "Demon Lightning" where "Great Moth" (instead of "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth") faces "Gaia the Dragon Champion" as the latter begins to lose ATK due to the former's corrosive poison.
• "Duel Tower", based on the KaibaCorp Island Duel Tower where the Battle City semi-finals and the title match takes place in Yu-Gi-Oh!
• "Dark Burning Magic", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 275 (Duelist Duel 216): "One Point of Life!" where the combined attack of "Dark Magician" and "Dark Magician Girl" destroy "The Sun Dragon Ra".
• "Destined Rivals", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 335 (Millennium World Duel 57): "White Dragon, Black Magician" where "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" duels with "Dark Magician".

• "Soul Energy MAX!!!", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 275 (Duelist Duel 216): "One Point of Life!" where "The God of the Obelisk" is combined with "Soul Taker" to Tribute "Immortal God Slime", which treated as two monsters (its Fusion Materials, "Jam Defender" and "Metal Reflect Slime") and increase its ATK to ∞.
• "Spell Card: "Monster Reborn", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 162 (Duelist Duel 103): "Magic vs. Magic" where Dark Yugi Special Summons his "Dark Magician" from his Graveyard with "Monster Reborn".
• "Spiral Spear Strike", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 67 (Duelist Duel 8): "The Ultimate Great Moth" where "Gaia the Fierce Knight" attacks "Cocoon of Evolution".
• "Sun God Unification", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 237 (Duelist Duel 178): "The Eve of Battle" where "The Sun Dragon Ra" attacks Dark Bakura directly.

• "Supreme King Z-ARC - Synchro Universe", based on Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V episode 138138: "Master of Disaster" which features both "Supreme King Z-ARC" and "Supreme King Dragon Clear Wing".
