"The Final Nail", known as "Maximum Duel!" in the Japanese version, is the twenty-sixth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS anime. It first aired in Japan on November 28, 2020 and aired in Australia on July 11, 2022.

Yuga's Maximum Monster, "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord", finally debuts! However, Nail's crafty tactics still give him a hard time. The battle with Rush Dueling and his friends' accounts at stake finally comes to an end! This is a Maximum Duel!

Summary[edit]

"Yggdrago the Sky Emperor" coils around the Goha Enterprises Main Office as it faces off against "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord", and Luke, Romin and Gavin all watch from their lift as Gavin gasps that this is Yuga's Maximum Monster. Luke asks Nail if he's scared now that he and Yuga are equal, much to Seatbastian's indignation, as he protests that Nail's "Yggdrago the Sky Emperor" has 4000 ATK, while Yuga's own hastily prepared Maximum only has 3500 ATK and the difference is clear. Nail smiles and he lightly comments to Seatbastian that it's too early to say that, and he's proven right when Yuga activates the "Reflection Charge" effect of "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord" by sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard. Lines of light spread through "Magnum Overlord" as Nail gasps "What?" and Yuga explains that the effect of "Magnum Overlord" allows it to increase its ATK by 200 times the Level of Nail's monster until the end of the turn. Luke cries that "Yggdrago" is Level 10, and Gavin declares that it will gain 2000 ATK. As "Magnum Overlord" powers up to 5500 ATK, Romin cheers that now it has the higher ATK. Yuga tells "Magnum Overlord" to show him just how powerful it is and he orders it to attack with "Brave Impact Slash". "Magnum Overlord" rises into the air, drawing colored light from its extremities and coalescing it into a sphere, then batting it toward "Yggdrago", pushing Yuga's friends' lift aside.

Nail's Trap protects "Yggdrago" from the attack of "Magnum Overlord".

But Nail activates a Trap Card, "Absurd Burst", and the energy sphere slams into a barrier before "Yggdrago". As both Duelists shield themselves from the shockwave, Nail explains that it will prevent "Yggdrago" from being destroyed this turn and Yuga will take the same damage that Nail does. He falls to 2500 LP, and then Yuga is blasted by yellow energy, dropping to 2500 LP as well. Romin cries Yuga's name, and then Nail adds that the attacking "Magnum Overlord" will also be destroyed. "Magnum Overlord" is consumed in a massive explosion that buffers Yuga and his friends, but Yuga grins and he comments that it's no problem. The smoke fades to reveal "Magnum Overlord" is unharmed, and Yuga explains that its second effect prevents it from being destroyed by his opponent's Trap effects while it is in Maximum Mode. Seatbastian calls it insolent that "Magnum Overlord" shares an effect with "Yggdrago", and Gavin praises the clash as intense, while Luke gasps that this is a clash between Maximums. Yuga ends his turn, and the ATK of "Magnum Overlord" returns to 3500. Down in the streets, children and adults alike are marveling over the Duel and Sushiko gasps that "Yggdrago" is completely wrapped around the Goha Headquarters as she watches with Briscoe and Saburamen, while Yosh is watching the Duel on a tablet with Mason and Hicks and asks if this is really the same Rush Duel that he's played. Diggs calls it an earth-shattering Jurassic as he watches with Trench and Tracker, and as Mimi watches the Duel on her own tablet, she looks up, thinking that they may be witnessing a major metamorphosis of Dueling since its first inception.

Gavin protects Luke and Romin from the attack of "Yggdrago".

Nail declares his turn and draws "Pair Production", two "Peacock Picotron", "Paradigm Shift" and "Absurd Void Hole", admitting that Yuga's installation of Maximum was a surprise, but it's thanks to this that he can test the full power of Maximums further. He Sets two cards and then sends two Cyberse monsters from his hand to the Graveyard to activate the Spell Card "Pair Production". He asks if Yuga also wouldn't like to see how far Maximum can go. Yuga gasps and Luke realizes what Nail is doing. Nail explains that the effect of "Pair Production" will increase the ATK of "Yggdrago" by 400 times the Level of the "Peacock Picotrons" he sent to the Graveyard to activate it, and as they were Level 5 it rises to 6000 ATK. Romin realizes what will happen if "Yggdrago" attacks with this power-up and Luke tells Yuga to be careful. Nail tells Yuga to bear witness to the power of Maximum raised by the strongest Spell of the Cyberse-Type, ordering the "Ragnarok Tri-Burst Streak" attack of "Yggdrago", which breathes three columns of flame from its mouths. Gavin pushes Luke and Romin down as the fire sears through the air above them and approaches "Magnum Overlord".

"Magnum Overlord", "Magnum Overlord [L]", and "Magnum Overlord [R]" avoid the attack of "Yggdrago".

Yuga vows not to let Nail, activating a Trap, "Emergency Return", much to Nail and Seatbastian's shock. "Magnum Overlord" glows and then separates into its three component monsters, and "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord [L]", "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord" and "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord [R]" all dodge and weave between the columns of fire as Yuga explains that he can return a monster he controls to the hand to negate the attack of "Yggdrago". Gavin is impressed by Yuga's move as Romin cries that Yuga disconnected his monsters, and Luke proudly declares that Yuga avoided the attack. Seatbastian growls angrily, but Nail simply ends his turn, the ATK of "Yggdrago" returning to normal. Saburamen, Briscoe and Sushiko all sigh in relief as Saburamen comments that it's an anxious turn of events, while in his apartment, Roa lightly comments that he's counting on Yuga.

Yuga is forced to return his hand - and his Maximum - to his Deck.

Yuga declares his turn and draws two cards, and Romin and Gavin note that Yuga still has his Maximum Cards in his hand, so he can Summon it whenever he wants. Luke tells Yuga to Maximum Summon as Yuga begins to take the three cards from his hand (which also contains "Light Sorcerer" and "Magical Stream"), but Nail comments that Yuga returned his monster to his hand to avoid his attack, which one could say to be the best strategy making full use of the characteristics of Maximum. But Nail activates a Trap, "Paradigm Shift", and Yuga gasps in horror as Nail tells him to return his hand to the Deck and draw five new cards. Yuga's friends gasp in shock; Romin cries "No!" and Luke asks if Nail really predicted that Yuga would return his Maximum Monster to his hand. Yuga folds his hand and inserts it into his Deck, then resolutely draws five cards; "Rescue Magician", "Road Magic - Tectonic Shift", "Sevens Road Magician", "Sevens Road Witch" and "Kuribot". Gavin fearfully asks what Yuga drew, and Romin notes that Yuga will just have to hold on until he draws his Maximum again, but Luke claims that Yuga won't be able to win if he does just that.

"Sevens Road Magician" and "Sevens Road Witch" stare down "Yggdrago".

But Yuga grins and he Summons "Kuribot". He pays 500 LP to activate the effect of "Kuribot", falling to 2000 LP as he adds another copy from his Graveyard to his hand. Luke encourages Yuga to put his all into this, and do everything to defeat Nail's Maximum; offense is the best defense. Yuga Tributes "Kuribot" to Tribute Summon "Sevens Road Witch", then he sends the other "Kuribot" from his hand to the Graveyard to activate the "Magical Sevens Call" effect of "Sevens Road Witch". "Sevens Road Magician" emerges triumphantly onto the field, and Yuga adds that "Sevens Road Witch" will gain 400 ATK until the end of the turn. Yuga then activates the "Elemental Road" effect of "Sevens Road Magician", and examines the monsters in his Graveyard: the DARK "Kuribot", the EARTH "Straynge Cat" and "Bascule the Moving Fortress" and the FIRE "Full Meteor Impact". "Sevens Road Magician" powers up to 3000 ATK and Seatbastian calls it foolish, as that ATK alone cannot possibly compete with "Yggdrago". Yuga retorts that he didn't say that he was done yet, much to Seatbastian's shock, and Yuga sends the EARTH "Rescue Magician" from his hand to the Graveyard to activate the Spell "Road Magic - Tectonic Shift". The sky darkens and lightning strikes around "Yggdrago", causing it to shriek as Yuga explains that the ATK of "Yggdrago" will by reduced by the 2500 ATK of the "Full Meteor Impact" in his Graveyard until the end of the turn. "Yggdrago" falls to 1500 ATK and Romin repeats the ATK value happily. Gavin and Luke gasp that Yuga will be able to win if he attacks twice. Yuga tells "Sevens Road Magician" to beat "Yggdrago" with "Sevens Magic", and "Sevens Road Magician" charges forwards.

"Yggdrago" survives Yuga's attack once again.

Nail commends Yuga's desperate efforts of resistance even in the absence of his Maximum Monster, but he activates another Trap, "Absurd Void Hole". Yuga cries "What?!" in horror. "Sevens Road Magician" blasts its flaming magic at "Yggdrago", and as the impact shakes the building and Nail is reduced to 1000 LP, he explains that "Yggdrago" will not be destroyed in this Battle Phase, and then he gains double the LP that he just lost. His LP returns to 4000, and Romin gasps that they're a long way from winning now as Gavin laments that Nail has completely restored his LP. Nail adds that his Trap also ends the Battle Phase, and Yuga ends his turn in frustration, returning the ATK of his monsters to normal, as well as the ATK of "Yggdrago", and Yuga's friends watch in frustration.

"Sevens Road Magician" switches places with "Sevens Road Witch".

Nail declares his turn and draws five cards, this time drawing "Trap Hole", "Pair Destruction", another "Paradigm Shift", "Yoctron" and "Femtron". He Sets three cards, then sends three cards from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard to activate the effect of "Yggdrago", ordering it to destroy "Sevens Road Magician" with "Blizzard of Providence". "Yggdrago" breathes a blizzard from its left head, consuming "Sevens Road Magician" as Yuga gasps in horror and Luke curses the use of that ability again, while Romin worries over what will happen when "Yggdrago" attacks "Sevens Road Witch" as Gavin gasps in fear. Nail orders "Yggdrago" to attack, and "Yggdrago" breathes a column of flames at "Sevens Road Witch". But Yuga activates a Trap Card, "Magical Switch", and he takes "Sevens Road Magician" from his Graveyard, which emerges from a portal and races onto the field past "Sevens Road Witch" as Yuga explains that it allows a Spellcaster on his field to switch places with one in his Graveyard. "Sevens Road Magician" takes the attack, consumed by the fires as they blast past Yuga and reduce his LP to 100. Yuga falls to one knee and Luke cries his name, Romin begging Yuga to hold on. Nail admits that Yuga has done well to hold out against his Maximum using ordinary monsters, but now he only has 100 LP and he cannot possibly hope to defeat "Yggdrago". In other words, Yuga and his allies' accounts will all be terminated. Saburamen, Briscoe, Sushiko, Diggs, Trench, Tracker, and Roa all look at the five penalties on their Duel Disks as Nail declares that without the progenitor or its heralds, the popularity of Rush Duels will begin to diminish and in time it will surely face extinction. Down below as the Newspaper Club watch the Duel, Cub lowers her camera and asks if this is really the end of Rush Duels, while Scoop whispers Yuga's name and Masa can only watch silently.

But then Katz declares that he's also Yuga's comrade, and Ricky adds that he's also someone who loves Rush Dueling. A yellow Goha Enterprises Drone flies over to them and declares that they have also been judged to be part of Yuga Ohdo's group, giving their Duel Disks five penalties and Scoop asks why. Another child declares that it's because he's also Yuga's comrade, and another girl agrees too, as does another boy. A Drone promptly flies over and penalizes them, but Seatbastian has been analyzing the happenings and he warns Nail that a lot of elementary students in Goha City have proclaimed themselves as part of Yuga Ohdo's group, thus being penalized. Gavin is quite surprised to hear this and Seatbastian explains that if Nail does win here and terminates Yuga's account, then he will also terminate 77.7% of the elementary school children's accounts in Goha City. Romin asks in shock what just happened, and Luke chuckles that they have a lot more comrades than they expected. Children all over Goha City chant "Rush Duel! Rush Duel!" as the adults lot on in bemusement, and in his apartment Roa comments that this is quite the situation. Seatbastian says Nail's name with trepidation, but Nail tells him not to worry, as Rush Dueling will still disappear. But to his shock, Yuga declares that he'll win this Duel no matter what.

Yuga makes his draw for the final part of his Maximum.

With "Yggdrago" looming over him, Yuga declares his turn and draws five cards, and Luke nervously asks if he's drawn his Maximum. But Yuga hasn't; he's drawn "Mystic Dealer", "Fire Golem", "Recovery Force", "Necromaid Nana" and "Silent Learning". Yuga grits his teeth, but vows that he'll definitely assemble it. He Summons "Mystic Dealer" and sends a card from his hand to the Graveyard to activate its effect, drawing a card - and he gets "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord [L]", much to his joy. His friends notice this and Luke cheers that it's here. Yuga then returns three Spellcasters from his Graveyard to his Deck to activate the Spell Card "Recovery Force", drawing another card - "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord [R]", much to his friends' joy. Yuga then Tributes "Mystic Dealer" to Tribute Summon, telling "Necromaid Nana" to lend him its power. He begins to activate its effect, sending it to the Graveyard, which Luke explains will let Yuga draw two cards, but Nail tells him that he won't let him do that, activating "Trap Hole" to destroy "Necromaid Nana" and warning Yuga that sometimes it's good to watch where he steps and realize that there really was no path forwards. Yuga replies that even so he'll still look ahead and continue forth on his road, as he has everyone's feelings and support with him. Nail narrows his eyes as Luke cheers Yuga on, and Yuga activates another Spell Card, "Silent Learning", allowing him to check one of Nail's Set cards and then draw a card if it's a Trap. Nail asks which Trap Yuga would like to see, and Yuga picks the middle card - the Trap "Pair Destruction" . Luke cheers that it's a Trap, and Romin cries that Yuga can draw a card. Yuga smiles, returning "Sevens Road Magician" from his Graveyard to the bottom of his Deck, and he prepares to draw, his friends watching attentively as Yuga makes his move...and he's drawn "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord". He cries that he did it, and his friends cheer him on, Luke telling Yuga to Maximum Summon.

Yuga has to return his hand to his Deck again.

But as Yuga reaches for the cards, Nail comments that the outcome will be the same no matter how many times Yuga does this. Yuga gasps in shock, and Nail activates his second "Paradigm Shift". Luke curses angrily, and Romin asks in horror if Yuga has to get rid of his hand again. Yuga can only return his hand to his Deck in disappointment and let his Duel Disk autoshuffle, and Saburamen laments that Yuga got bowled over again. Yuga draws three cards, and Gavin asks Yuga what he's drawn. Luke asks if he got all of the Maximums, but Yuga's only drawn one of them: "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord", while the other two cards in his hand are "Curtain of Sparks" and "Kuribotriple". He notes that it's close, but he's only got one piece. But then he hears Luke's voice telling him not to give up. Luke's image appears over "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord", telling Yuga that he can draw the other two towards him. Yuga worries that he doesn't think that he can, but Luke asks if he forgot that these Maximum Cards were made from their own Duel ID cards; it's like they're with Yuga. Yuga gasps in shock, and in his apartment, Roa comments that Otes said the same thing; a true Duelist is one who can draw and attract cards to them. Yuga declares that his Maximum represents his three closest friends, and his friends all gasp in surprise. Yuga activates another Spell Card, "Kuribotriple", returning three "Kuribot" from his Graveyard to his Deck and drawing two cards. He tells his friends to come to him as he prepares to draw again, and Nail muses that Yuga still had a way to draw cards, though Seatbastian is skeptical of Yuga's chances to draw his Maximum now. Yuga turns to his friends and calls their names, before calling to everyone else across the city, asking them to fight alongside him once more. The watching Roa is taken aback, but he smiles as Yuga steels himself and he draws two glowing cards...

Yuga and his allies all invoke the Maximum Summon.

And he's drawn "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord [L]" and "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord [R]". He cries that it's here, and Gavin gasps his name excitedly, while Seatbastian can only gasp "No way!" Luke yells "That's right, that's right!" and Yuga holds up the three glowing cards, calling "Here we go!" He and all the children supporting him across Goha City (and even Mysterious M) chant "The hesitation, the pain, and even the despair that block my way—! With dreams! And courage! And friendship! Cut open a road through them and press onward!" Yuga finishes with "Maximum Summon! Come on out, Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord!" The three Machine Maximum Monsters all emerge, superimposed with the Duelists their cards were derived from, and once again they combine and transform into their Maximum Mode.

Gavin explains the effect of Nail's "Pair Destruction" Trap.

Seatbastian can only scream "N-No way!" as the two Maximum Mode Monsters face off again, and down below Saburamen, Briscoe and Sushiko all cheer, while Diggs yells "Jurassic!" as Trench and Tracker cheer as well, and Roa smiles. "Magnum Overlord" and "Yggdrago" dominate the city skyline as the children cheer and Nail simply watches as Yuga sends the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to activate the "Reflection Charge" effect of "Magnum Overlord". "Magnum Overlord" begins absorbing energy as Yuga reminds Nail that "Magnum Overlord" now gains ATK equal to the Level of "Yggdrago" times 200. "Magnum Overlord" powers up to 5500 ATK again, and Romin cheers that Yuga has it this time for sure, Gavin tells Yuga that it's his win and Luke cheers his name as Yuga celebrates. But Nail comments that Yuga already saw it, didn't he? Yuga and his friends gasp in shock as Nail reminds them that he has a Trap Card Set, and Luke remembers that Nail has "Pair Destruction" Set. Romin asks if it's really that bad, and Gavin explains that if the player's monster is destroyed in battle by a monster with the same Level then both players will take damage equal to that Level times 400. Romin realizes that they would both take 400 times 10 damage - 4000 - and she asks who would win then. Luke admits that they would both lose, much to Romin's horror. Nail comments that he said earlier that this would be the last Rush Duel in existence. Saburamen, Briscoe, Sushiko, Diggs, Trench, Tracker, Yosh, Mason, Hicks, and Roa all watch in anticipation...and then Yuga declares that it won't be, surprising Nail. Of course Yuga didn't forget Nail's "Pair Destruction", but isn't Nail the one forgetting something? "Magnum Overlord" is a Maximum Monster and has three effects, and Yuga has only used two of them.

"Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord" attacks "Yggdrago the Sky Emperor".

Nail gasps that Yuga can't be, but Yuga activates the final and best effect of "Magnum Overlord", which will increase its ATK by the difference in their LP until the end of the turn. Nail can only choke "What?!" and Gavin cries that the difference between Yuga and Nail's LP is 3900. Luke cries that the ATK of "Magnum Overlord" will increase by 3900, to 9400. Yuga sends "Curtain of Sparks" from his hand to the Graveyard to activate the "Maximum Charge" effect, and "Magnum Overlord" draws its sword across its shield, glowing with lightning and emitting twisters as it powers up to 9400 ATK. As Nail watches, Seatbastian steps forwards, protesting that this attack will reduce Nail's LP to zero before he can use "Pair Destruction". Nail comments that it seems that Yuga's road has gone far beyond his own providence, and he smiles in content. Yuga cheers that this time he'll do it for sure, and he tells "Magnum Overlord" that they'll win this. Surrounded by a sphere of rainbow light, "Magnum Overlord" rises into the sky as Yuga orders its "Shocking Maximum-Burst Road Slash" attack, and it blasts a beam of light from its sword that pierces the heavens, then brings the blade down, carving through "Yggdrago the Sky Emperor" and the Goha Headquarters. "Yggdrago" is destroyed at last in an explosion of golden particles as Saburamen, Briscoe, Sushiko, Diggs, Trench, Tracker and Roa all celebrate and the smoke clears as Nail's LP falls to zero.

Nail accumulates six penalties.
Three new foes appear to crush Rush Duels.

As the sun sets, the massive Goha Enterprises logo reactivates above the Main Office. As he promised, Nail returns the data drive containing Kaizo's original data to Yuga, and then Seatbastian walks up to them with Kaizo's empty body. Yuga plugs the data drive into Kaizo and closes him back up, and his face appears on his screen as Kaizo asks where he is and who this is. Romin cries Kaizo's name happily, and Kaizo squeals Romin's name and hugs her, Luke grumpily pointing out that it was for Kaizo that they fought so hard, though Kaizo has no idea what they're talking about. But then a swarm of Drones arrive, declaring that a user has accumulated six penalties and will have their account terminated. Yuga looks at his Duel Disk in confusion, protesting that he still only has five, but then he looks at Nail in shock as he realizes what's happened. Nail smiles, and he holds up his Duel Disk as a sixth penalty blinks on it. Luke and Gavin gasp that Nail has six penalties, and as Yuga and his friends look at Nail in shock, Nail explains that it wouldn't have meant anything if he hadn't fought under the same conditions that Yuga did. He removes his Duel Disk, declaring that this is his providence. Yuga protests, but Nail notes that as Otes had said, the door to the new world has definitely been opened. Yuga smiles eagerly, and Nail says Seatbastian's name. Responding in the affirmative, Seatbastian runs a program, and a tone sounds on Yuga's Duel Disk as all five of his penalties disappear. Then the three "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord" cards are ejected from Yuga's Duel Disk, and as Luke, Romin and Gavin each take "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord", "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord [L]" and "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord [R]" respectively, they fade back into their Duel ID cards. They gasp that their accounts have returned, and Nail tells Yuga that it's thanks to him that he managed to see a whole new world, so this is his gratitude. Nail asks Yuga to let him say one last thing - that his Rush Duels have so much potential.

But three new enemies have appeared, and the short-haired girl at their center declares that they will surely and utterly crush Rush Dueling.

Featured Duel: Yuga Ohdo vs Nail Saionji[edit]

Duel continues from the previous episode.

Yuga has 4000 LP and controls "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord [L]", "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord", and "Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord [R]" in Maximum Mode (3500 MAXIMUM ATK) and two Set cards in his Spell & Trap Zones. Nail has 4000 LP and controls "Yggdrago the Sky Emperor [L]", "Yggdrago the Sky Emperor" and "Yggdrago the Sky Emperor [R]" in Maximum Mode (4000 MAXIMUM ATK) and one Set card in his Spell & Trap Zones.

Turn 3: Yuga
As "Magnum Overlord" is in Maximum Mode, Yuga activates the effect of "Magnum Overlord [R]", sending a card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase the ATK of "Magnum Overlord" by the Level of a face-up monster Nail controls x 200 until the end of the turn. Yuga sends an unknown card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard and chooses the Level 10 "Yggdrago" ("Magnum Overlord": 3500 → 5500). "Magnum Overlord" attacks "Yggdrago". As Yuga declared an attack while Nail controlled a face-up Cyberse monster, Nail activates his Set Trap "Absurd Burst", preventing the destruction of his monster by battle, inflicting damage to Yuga equal to the battle damage he takes, and destroying the attacking monster. The attack continues and "Yggdrago" is not destroyed (Nail 4000 → 2500), and due to the effect of "Absurd Burst", Yuga takes damage equal to the battle damage Nail took (Yuga 4000 → 2500), then "Magnum Overlord" would be destroyed, but as it is in Maximum Mode, its effect prevents it from being destroyed by Nail's Trap effects. At the end of the turn, the effect of "Magnum Overlord" expires ("Magnum Overlord": 5500 → 3500).

Turn 4: Nail
Nail draws "Pair Production", two copies of "Peacock Picotron", "Paradigm Shift" and "Absurd Void Hole". Nail Sets two cards. Nail activates the Spell "Pair Production", sending two Level 5 or lower Cyberse monsters with the same Level from his hand to choose a face-up monster he controls and increase its ATK by one of those monsters' Level x 400 until the end of the turn. Nail sends two copies of the Level 5 "Peacock Picotron" from his hand to the Graveyard and chooses "Yggdrago" ("Yggdrago": 4000 → 6000). "Yggdrago" attacks "Magnum Overlord". As a monster Nail controls declared an attack, Yuga activates his Set Trap "Emergency Return", returning a face-up Level 5 or higher monster he controls to the hand to negate the attack. Yuga returns the Level 10 "Magnum Overlord" to his hand to negate the attack. At the end of the turn, the effect of "Pair Production" expires ("Yggdrago": 6000 → 4000).

Turn 5: Yuga
Yuga draws "Light Sorcerer" and "Magical Stream". As Yuga drew a card(s), Nail activates his Set Trap "Paradigm Shift", shuffling Yuga's hand into his Deck, then forcing him to draw the same number of cards. Yuga shuffles "Light Sorcerer", "Magical Stream", "Magnum Overlord [L]", "Magnum Overlord" and "Magnum Overlord [R]" from his hand into his Deck and draws "Rescue Magician", "Road Magic - Tectonic Shift", "Sevens Road Magician", "Sevens Road Witch" and "Kuribot". Yuga Normal Summons "Kuribot" (300/200). As Yuga controls no other monsters, he activates the effect of "Kuribot", paying 500 LP (Yuga 2500 → 2000) to add another "Kuribot" from his Graveyard to his hand. Yuga Tributes "Kuribot" to Tribute Summon "Sevens Road Witch" (1600/1000). Yuga activates the effect of "Sevens Road Witch", sending a card from his hand to the Graveyard to Special Summon a Level 5 or higher Spellcaster monster from his hand, and if Yuga Special Summons "Sevens Road Magician" with this effect, "Sevens Road Witch" will gain 400 ATK until the end of the turn. Yuga Special Summons the Level 7 "Sevens Road Magician" from his hand in Attack Position (2100/1500) ("Sevens Road Witch": 1600 → 2000).

Yuga activates the effect of "Sevens Road Magician", sending a card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by 300 for each monster with a different Attribute in his Graveyard. Yuga sends an unknown card from his Deck to the Graveyard, so there are three monsters with different Attributes in his Graveyard ("Sevens Road Magician": 2100 → 3000). As Yuga controls a face-up Level 7 or higher Spellcaster monster, he activates the Spell "Road Magic - Tectonic Shift", sending an EARTH monster from his hand to the Graveyard to choose a face-up monster his opponent controls and decrease its ATK by the ATK of the monster with the highest ATK in his Graveyard until the end of the turn. He sends the EARTH "Rescue Magician" from his hand to the Graveyard and chooses "Yggdrago", with "Full Meteor Impact" (2500/0) being the monster with the highest ATK in his Graveyard ("Yggdrago": 4000 → 1500). "Sevens Road Magician" attacks "Yggdrago". As Yuga declared an attack on a face-up Cyberse monster Nail controlled, Nail activates his Set Trap "Absurd Void Hole", preventing the destruction of his monster by battle, gaining LP equal to twice the damage he takes and ending the Battle Phase after damage calculation. The attack continues and "Yggdrago" is not destroyed (Nail 2500 → 1000), and due to the effect of "Absurd Void Hole", Nail gains LP equal to twice the damage he took (Nail 1000 → 4000), then the Battle Phase ends. At the end of the turn, the effects of "Sevens Road Magician", "Sevens Road Witch" and "Road Magic - Tectonic Shift" all expire ("Sevens Road Magician": 3000 → 2100) ("Sevens Road Witch": 2000 → 1600) ("Yggdrago": 1500 → 4000).

Turn 6: Nail
Nail draws "Trap Hole", "Pair Destruction", "Paradigm Shift", "Yoctron" and "Femtron". Nail Sets three cards. As "Yggdrago" is in Maximum Mode, Nail activates the effect of "Yggdrago [L]", sending three cards from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard to choose a Level 8 or lower monster Yuga controls and destroy it. He sends three unknown cards from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard and destroys the Level 7 "Sevens Road Magician". "Yggdrago" attacks "Sevens Road Witch". As a monster Nail controls declared an attack, Yuga activates his Set Trap "Magical Switch", Special Summoning a Spellcaster monster from his Graveyard in Attack Position, and then sending a monster from his field to the Graveyard. Yuga Special Summons "Sevens Road Magician" from his Graveyard in Attack Position, and then sends "Sevens Road Witch" from his field to the Graveyard. A replay occurs and "Yggdrago" attacks and destroys "Sevens Road Magician" (Yuga 2000 → 100).

Turn 7: Yuga
Yuga draws "Mystic Dealer", "Fire Golem", "Recovery Force", "Necromaid Nana" and "Silent Learning". Yuga Normal Summons "Mystic Dealer" (1000/0). Yuga activates the effect of "Mystic Dealer", sending a Spellcaster monster from his hand to the Graveyard to draw a card. He sends "Fire Golem" from his hand to the Graveyard and draws "Magnum Overlord [L]". Yuga Tributes "Mystic Dealer" to Tribute Summon "Necromaid Nana" (1100/700). As Yuga Normal Summoned a monster with 1000 or more ATK, Nail activates his Set Trap "Trap Hole", destroying that monster. "Necromaid Nana" is destroyed. Yuga activates the Spell "Recovery Force", returning three Spellcaster monsters from his Graveyard to his Deck to draw a card. He returns three unknown Spellcaster monsters from his Graveyard to his Deck and draws "Magnum Overlord [R]". As Yuga has at least three Level 5 or higher monsters in his Graveyard with different Types, he activates the Spell "Silent Learning", choosing a Set card in Nail's Spell & Trap Zone and revealing it. If it is a Trap, Yuga places a Level 5 or higher monster from his Graveyard on the bottom of his Deck and draws a card. Yuga reveals the Trap "Pair Destruction" in Nail's middle Spell & Trap Zone, so he places the Level 7 "Sevens Road Magician" from his Graveyard in the bottom of his Deck and draws "Magnum Overlord". As Yuga drew a card, Nail activates his Set Trap "Paradigm Shift", shuffling Yuga's hand into his Deck, then forcing him to draw the same number of cards. Yuga shuffles "Magnum Overlord [L]", "Magnum Overlord" and "Magnum Overlord [R]" from his hand into his Deck and draws "Curtain of Sparks", "Magnum Overlord" and "Kuribotriple". Yuga activates the Spell "Kuribotriple", returning three copies of "Kuribot" from his Graveyard to his Deck to draw two cards. Yuga draws "Magnum Overlord [L]" and "Magnum Overlord [R]".

Yuga Maximum Summons "Magnum Overlord [L]", "Magnum Overlord" and "Magnum Overlord [R]", entering Maximum Mode (3500 MAXIMUM ATK). As "Magnum Overlord" is in Maximum Mode, Yuga activates the effect of "Magnum Overlord [R]", sending a card from the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase the ATK of "Magnum Overlord" by the Level of a face-up monster Nail controls x 200 until the End Phase. Yuga chooses the Level 10 "Yggdrago" ("Magnum Overlord": 3500 → 5500). As "Magnum Overlord" is in Maximum Mode and Yuga's LP are lower than Nail's, Yuga activates the effect of "Magnum Overlord [L]", sending a card from his hand to the Graveyard to increase the ATK of "Magnum Overlord" by the difference between both players' LP until the end of the turn. He sends "Curtain of Sparks" from his hand to the Graveyard ("Magnum Overlord": 5500 → 9400). "Magnum Overlord" attacks and destroys "Yggdrago" (Nail 4000 → 0).
