Resolve
When a card Resolves, its effect takes place, and more often than not, the card is sent to the Graveyard (unless it is a Continuous Card or another card that remains face-up on the field (such as "Different Dimension Capsule)). When such an effect does resolve, it is then sent to the Graveyard.
During the Battle Phase after resolving the effect of one of your opponents card effects, the only other card effects that can be activated are Quick Play Spell and Counter Trap cards.
