Pseudo-Flip Effects are similiar to Flip Effects, however, they just state they are activated when the card is "flipped face-up", therefore they wouldn't be negated by card effects that negate Flip effects (like Ceasefire, The Spell Absorbing Life, or Evil Hero Dark Gaia) for example.
Examples of monsters with such effects are Tsukuyomi, Dark Dust Spirit, Nightmare Penguin, and Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo.
