Pseudo-Flip Effects is an unofficial term given to Trigger Effects that are similar to Flip Effects; these effects activate when the monster is flipped face-up. However, since they are Trigger Effects and not Flip Effects, things like "Ceasefire", "Evil HERO Dark Gaia, "The Spell Absorbing Life", etc. are not applied to them.
Examples of monsters with such effects are "Geargiarmor", "Nightmare Penguin", "Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo", "Worm Yagan", and "Karakuri Ninja mdl 339 "Sazank".
