A Bushido Counter is a counter used in the OCG and TCG. This type of counter is used by cards that support the "Six Samurai" and "Shien" archetypes. The first card that used these counters was "Six Samurai United" from Phantom Darkness, then more Bushido Counter-related cards were eventually released in Stardust Overdrive and Storm of Ragnarok.
Bushido Counter-related cards can accomplish many functions, from ATK boosting to draw power, and their production is usually determined by the Summon of a "Six Samurai" monster(s). Many cards that use these counters have the line "Each time a "Six Samurai" monster(s) is Normal or Special Summoned, place (?) Bushido Counter(s) on this card".
