The Maximum Deck Amount refers to the maximum number of cards that can be in your Deck and Extra Deck. Unlike the Minimum Deck Amount, this term was introduced, when the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's series came out, while in the time before, there was no limit. The current maximum amount is 60 cards in a Deck and 15 for Extra Deck and 15 for Side Deck.
