Synchro Materials (formerly Synchro Material Monsters; Japanese: シンクロ
Token Monsters and Trap Monsters (and presumably, Spell Monsters) can be used as Synchro Materials.
Some Synchro Monsters requires their Synchro Materials to have specific properties. If the Synchro Monster requires Synchro Materials of a specific Attribute (like "Hydro Genex"), you can use a monster with multiple Attributes (like "Elemental Mistress Doriado") as a Synchro Material.
Synchro Materials are sent to the Graveyard, not destroyed or Tributed and not as the result of an effect.
