Destiny Draw

Destiny Draw is a feature existing introduced in Yu-Gi-Oh! The Duelists of the Roses and primarily used in most games of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force series, except for the original Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force Evolution.

In Duelists of the Roses a Destiny Draw can be initiated if the player's Deck Master is at a high enough rank. Unlike the Tag Force series, rather than drawing a preset card from the deck the player will can draw any card (even those not included in the main deck or chest) to reverse various scenarios. The card drawn via this effect is not added to the deck or the chest once the duel is finished.

Destiny Draw can be enabled or disabled. Prior to using a Deck, if one keeps Destiny Draw on, he/she should set up to 5 Destiny Cards. During a duel, if a player is having trouble during the duel (i.e. having a wide-open to attacks field whilst the opponent controls a monster and/or having low Life Points), then he/she will be given the once-per-duel option of activating Destiny Draw -- which will randomly select one of the Destiny Cards in the deck, and the player will draw that card instead.

In Tag Force 2, all of the characters can use this mechanic. In most animations for it, almost all of the duelists share various poses, although some like Crowler, Bonaparte, Damon, Jinzo, and Dorothy have their special animations.

In Tag Force 4, only the anime characters (like the Signers, Dark Signers, and their allies) utilize Destiny Draw. Here, if animations are on, they say a few words, then they draw their card.

In Tag Force 6, all characters utilize Destiny Draw, including the non-anime characters.
