Quick-Play Spell Cards (Japanese:
The player can activate Quick-Play Spell Cards from their hand in any Phase of their turn, and either player can activate Set Quick-Play Spell Cards during any Phase in either player's turn, except during the turn they are Set.[1] The player cannot activate Quick-Play Spell Cards from their hand during the opponent's turn.[1]
Quick-Play Spell Cards can also be Set from the hand during the Main Phase of the player's turn, but, as mentioned, cannot be activated in the turn it's set.
As Spell Speed 2 cards, Quick-Play Spell Cards can be Chained to other Spell Speed 1 or 2 cards.[2]
After activation and resolution, Quick-Play Spell Cards are sent to the Graveyard.

Effect exceptions
- Some card effects let the player activate Quick-Play Spell Cards from the hand in the opponent's turn. (e.g.: "Condemned Maiden")
