Thunder monsters are generally LIGHT Attribute, although there are some exceptions, such as United Resistance, which is WIND Attribute. Thunder monsters usually represent beings with energy powers, those that use or make use of electricity, or being that are made of pure energy. The Batteryman Archetype is purely composed of Thunder-Type monsters.
The Thunder are Considered to be able to Remove and/or Destroy Monster Card, That is the Reason that many Thunder-Related Cards has the effect of Destroy Monsters, like Raigeki, Lightning Vortex, Raigeki Break, Judgment of Thunder, Zaborg the Thunder Monarch, etc. Divine Wrath also Makes a Reference in it's Artwork, showing a Thunder destroying a Monster.
