Paradox is the main antagonist in Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Super Fusion! Bonds That Transcend Time. A formidable enemy who travels through time and space to change his destroyed future by fighting Yugi Muto, Jaden Yuki and Yusei Fudo. He wears a mask and his true identity is draped in mystery.
Biography
Paradox is from the future. Fearing its destruction, he travels back in time in an attempt to rewrite history and create a better future.
He goes back in time and interrupts a Turbo Duel between Crow Hogan, Jack Atlas, and Yusei Fudo. He steals Yusei's signature card, "Stardust Dragon" and turns it into a black corrupted version. He steals more cards over the course of his travels and turns them into "Sin" monsters.
He plans to eliminate the creator of Duel Monsters, Pegasus.
Yusei manages to travel back in time too and recruits Jaden Yuki and Yugi Muto to help stop Paradox. The 3 legendary duelists face Paradox in a Duel.
Deck
Paradox's Deck includes the "Sin" monsters, an archetype composed of DARK Dragons which are corrupt versions of other series' protagonists' trump Monster Cards.
Paradox's preferred Field Spell is "Sin World", which gives him the option of skipping his Draw Phase in each turn, and instead summoning a "Sin" monster to the field from his Deck. His monsters are supported by several Trap Cards that include the word "Sin" in their names.
Contrary to the current OCG "Sin" monster effects, in the film, Paradox is able to maintain multiple "Sin" monsters on the field at the same time with no cost.
