Penguin palace
The penguin palace is an unnamed location in Noah Kaiba's virtual world in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime.
The palace is used by Crump. It is decorated with statues of penguins and has a long switch-backed stairway leading up a hill to its entrance.
Events
A penguin helped save Téa Gardner from a group of Hitotsu-Me Giants, then led her to a raft which brought her to a beach at the foot of the palace stairway. Téa made her way into the palace, where she had an audience of penguins and was greeted by Crump's voice.[1]
Crump, in the form of "Nightmare Penguin", revealed that he knew personal details about Téa and tried to tempt her by saying he could get her a role in the Jewel of the Sage musical, knowing she had dreamed of that role. However he labeled her as lacking potential, the kind of person who lingers in the same position unable to achieve her dreams, and having no future. He called selfish with the exception of a foolish infatuation on a boy, implied to be Yugi Muto. He accused her of littering and wasting resources, consequently contributing to global warming, which would cause penguins to suffer. When he announced his intentions to take her body and have her reborn as a high school student who respects the Earth, Téa decided she had enough and fled from the palace.[1]
