Overview
Dinosaur monsters are aesthetically themed after their historical namesake, as well as other prehistoric beasts like mammoths, ichthyosaurs, and pterosaurs. Some, such as "Uraby" and "Megazowler" have more down-to-earth design, while other such as "Miscellaneousaurus", and "Hydrogeddon" are more fantastical. Dinosaur monsters are predominantly EARTH or FIRE, but do have members from all Attributes in the game aside from DIVINE.
Gameplay-wise, Dinosaurs' play style typically revolve around using high-ATK monsters and offensive Monster Effects, Special Summoning high-Level Main Deck monsters, and effects that destroy friendly Dinosaur monsters for advantage. Due to a large number of generic Dinosaur supports, the type is also notable for allowing a great degree of hybridization between various Dinosaur themes, with recent Dinosaur supports have also provides cross-support with the Dragon, Reptile, Sea Serpent and Wyrm types.
In Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom, Dinosaur monsters are lumped together with Dragon monsters, and are treated as the latter Type.
