World Championship 2008[edit]
Shell Guardian - Savan appears in the underwater area of the Sunlight Duel World, guarding the door to the Civilization Duel World. He offers the player 5 different challenges to duel against him under, and the player must beat at least 3 of these challenges in order to proceed. Beating all 5 challenges unlocks Alexis Rhodes as an opponent in World Championship Mode.

Savan appears as a downloadable Ghost Duelist for October 2009.

- 40 Cards only: Midnight Thunder, a Thunder-themed Beatdown Deck.
- 2000 LP: Wanna Dance?, a defensive Burn Deck.
- Monsters only: Prehistoric Drum, a Deck featuring a number of monsters that can Special Summon themselves.
- No Spells: Prohibited Trap, a Deck with various countermeasures against Trap Cards.
- 3 Copies of Each Card: Back, You Beast!, a Beast-Warrior-themed Beatdown Deck.
