He was a friend of Chazz Princeton before Chazz left Duel Academy. He is seen next to Chazz while Jaden Yuki dueled Dr. Crowler. When Chazz goes to the Obelisk Blue dorm while in the Society of Light, Raizou was one of the first to be defeated and join the Society. He is always seen with Taiyou Torimaki.
