Overview
Beast-Warrior monsters usually resemble anthropomorphic animals or other half-man, half-animal creatures such as centaurs (like "Chiron the Mage") or werewolves (like "Gene-Warped Warwolf"). Many brutish non-human monsters like certain ogres and goblins, such as "Goblin Marauding Squad" and "Sengenjin", may also be classified as Beast-Warriors. Some human monsters with animal motif, such as the "Ancient Warriors" and "Fire Fist" archtypes were also classified as such. Many Beast-Warriors are either EARTH or FIRE, but there are monsters of the Type for each of the six primary Attributes in the game.
Their effects generally apply after destroying a monster, and help them destroy monsters more easily, but many of their effects also deal with Normal Monsters or give an advantage during battle, like "Exarion Universe" and "Enraged Battle Ox". Beast-Warriors are neither Beast nor Warrior monsters, so they are not affected by effects that specifically affect Beast or Warrior monsters. However, certain cards also support the Beast-Warrior, Beast, and Winged Beast Types as a whole.
In Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom, Beast-Warrior monsters from the OCG are lumped together with Warrior monsters.
