Kyosuke Kiryu is one of the Dark Signers. Not only was he once the leader of Yusei Fudo's gang, but also he resembled the image of a big brother to them, especially to Yusei. However, a certain incident made him transform into a Dark Signer.
Kiryu wears the black robe of the Dark Signers accented with blue stripes.
As seen in Episode 31, his Dark Signer birthmark is the Astronaut. Also, it is shown (through the opening theme) that Kiryu will probably be dueling Yusei.
