The Legendary Fisherman can only be seen and dueled if the player approaches the fishing spot in the Sunlight Duel World but refuses to pay for fishing.

It does not give the player any cards as gifts, and it cannot be unlocked as a Tag Duel partner.

World Championship 2011

The Legendary Fisherman appears as a Turbo Tag Duel opponent, partnered with Shark Cruiser. Their Tag Team name is "Down to the Sea", and they are unlocked by finishing Chapter 5 in Story Mode.

These cards can be obtained from the Memory Game after defeating The Legendary Fisherman and Shark Cruiser.
