Biography[edit]

Yoshizo and his friends lived in a rural area in Japan, when Taro Yamashita, sees a newspaper in a story about the WRGP and has the idea of entering the tournament with Yoshizo and Jinbei Tanigawa. Although Jinbei does not think that something is possible.

They buy a Duel Runner, but it was not only in poor condition but with parts missing. Seeing Taro so dedicated to fix it, his father shows another Duel Runner, which the boy can fix.

Jinbei arranges some cards, but they were all weak and without effects. Taro tries to create a strategy using the cards, but can't.

Until seeing a card in the middle of the others and has an idea. They go to the WRGP and reach the finals, but the Diablo damaged their Duel Runner.

In one test, they find Leo, offering the help of Yusei, despite the insistence of Jinbei not to receive his help, they agree and Yusei arranges the Duel Runner.

But in a twist of fate, they discover that they will face Team 5D's in the next round. Being the First Wheeler in the team, he faces Jack Atlas.
