Duelist Kingdom

• In episode 1 of the second series anime, this card is shown in Kaiba's briefcase when he offers a bunch of rare cards to Solomon Muto in exchange for his "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".

• In episode 5, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Weevil Underwood. When "Great Moth" attacks Yugi's set "Beaver Warrior", Weevil explains to Yugi that all monsters on the ground will be destroyed after the attack. Yugi then activates this card to fuse "Gaia The Fierce Knight" with "Curse of Dragon" in order to Fusion Summon "Gaia the Dragon Champion".

• In episode 15, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against PaniK. He uses this card to fuse "Gaia The Fierce Knight" with "Curse of Dragon" in order to Fusion Summon "Gaia the Dragon Champion".

• In episode 16, Seto Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Joey Wheeler. He uses this card to fuse "Battle Ox" with "Mystic Horseman" in order to Fusion Summon "Rabid Horseman".

• In episode 19, Para uses this card during his Tag Duel with Dox against Yami Yugi and Joey. He uses this card to fuse "Shadow Ghoul" with "Labyrinth Wall" in order to create "Wall Shadow". Two episodes later, Yugi activates this card to fuse his "Summoned Skull" with Joey's "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" in order to Fusion Summon "Black Skull Dragon". However, the Paradox Brothers reveal that the labyrinth is a "No Fly Zone", so "Black Skull Dragon" can't move any spaces.

• In episode 23, Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He uses this card to fuse his three "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" together in order to Fusion Summon "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon". This card is also shown to be in Yugi's hand. In the next episode, Yugi activates his copy with "Living Arrow" in order to fuse "Mammoth Graveyard" onto "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" and create an imperfect fusion on Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" which would weaken Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" until it was weak enough for Yugi to destroy.
  • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card appears within Kaiba's thoughts when he notes his goal on fusing his three "Blue-Eyes" together to form "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon". The only difficulty, according to Kaiba, would be drawing this card.

• In episode 30, Yami Yugi draws this card during his Duel against Mai Valentine.

• In episode 33, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Joey. He uses this card to fuse "Gaia The Fierce Knight" with "Curse of Dragon" in order to Fusion Summon "Gaia the Dragon Champion". Later Joey activates "Copycat" to activate this card as his card, allowing Joey to fuse Yugi's "Summoned Skull" (who Joey revived under his control via "Graverobber") with "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" in order to Fusion Summon "Black Skull Dragon".
  • This card also appears when Yami Yugi explains to Joey that Duel Monsters is about the balance between Monster, Spell and Trap Cards.

• In episode 39, Maximillion Pegasus uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He uses this card to fuse "Relinquished" with "Thousand-Eyes Idol" and Fusion Summon "Thousand-Eyes Restrict".

Legendary Heroes

• In episode 44, Yugi Muto uses this card when he and his friends were confronted by a "Gate Guardian" that was blocking the exit to the maze they were in. He uses this card to fuse his "Summoned Skull" with Joey's "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" and Fusion Summon "Black Skull Dragon".

• In episode 45, Seto Kaiba and Yami Yugi both use this card during the battle against the Mythic Dragon. Kaiba uses his copy to fuse his three "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" together and Fusion Summon "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon". Yami Yugi then activates his copy to fuse his "Black Luster Solder" with Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" and Fusion Summon "Dragon Master Knight".

Battle City

• In episode 50, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Bandit Keith while the latter was possessed by Marik Ishtar. He uses this card to fuse "Gaia The Fierce Knight" with "Curse of Dragon" and Fusion Summon "Gaia the Dragon Champion".

• In episode 53, Johnny Steps uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He uses this card to fuse "Witch of the Black Forest" with "Lady of Faith" and Fusion Summon "Musician King".
  • This card also appears on a poster that Yugi and Téa Gardner read when they find a game store that was selling Duel Monster cards.

• In episode 54, Duel Robot uses this card during its Duel against Kaiba. It uses this card to fuse the three copies of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" together in order to Fusion Summon "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon".

• In episode 56, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against a Rare Hunter. He uses this card to fuse "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast".
  • This card is also shown on Kaiba's monitor while he and his workers were observing the Duel between Yami Yugi and Seeker.

• In episode 65, Strings uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi while the former was possessed by Marik Ishtar. He uses this card to fuse "Humanoid Slime" with "Worm Drake" in order to Fusion Summon "Humanoid Worm Drake".

• In episode 69, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Mako Tsunami. He uses this card to fuse "Alligator's Sword" with "Baby Dragon" in order to Fusion Summon "Alligator's Sword Dragon".

• In episode 73, this card is shown in Kaiba's hand during his Tag Duel with Yami Yugi against Lumis and Umbra.

• In episode 78, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Joey has when he starts to remember that he is a Duelist (as Marik Ishtar brainwashed him into Dueling Yugi and defeating him).

• In episode 79, Bonz uses this card during his Duel against Yami Bakura. He uses this card to fuse "Dragon Zombie" with "The Snake Hair" in order to Fusion Summon "Great Mammoth of Goldfine".

• In episode 85, this card can be seen when Yugi is rebuilding his Deck.

• In episode 88, Joey draws this card during his Duel against Odion.

• In episode 93, this card was shown in Kaiba's hand during his Duel against Ishizu Ishtar. He is forced to discard this card and "Kaiser Glider" from his hand via Ishizu's "Michizure of Doom". In the next episode, Kaiba is forced to return this card, "Kaiser Glider", "Virus Cannon", "Shrink", "Vorse Raider" and "Crush Card Virus" to his Deck via Ishizu's "Exchange of the Spirit". Kaiba later draws this card, but he doesn't use this card at all during the rest of the Duel.
  • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in Ishizu's thoughts when she notes that once Kaiba attacks, the effect of "Blast Held by a Tribute" will destroy "Obelisk" and inflict its ATK as damage to Kaiba.

Virtual World

• In episode 98, a virtual Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Total Defense Shogun. He uses this card to fuse his three copies of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" toger and Fusion Summon "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon".

• In episode 99, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Gansley. He uses this card to fuse "Berformet" with "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast".
  • This card also appears when Yami Yugi was building his Virtual World Deck for his Duel against Gansley.

• In episode 103, during Téa Gardner's Duel against Crump, this card was one of the four cards revealed via the Deck Master Ability of "Dark Magician Girl" before Téa selects "Sage's Stone".
  • In the same episode, Yugi uses this card while he and Yami Yugi were goes through a doorway puzzle. Yugi activates this card to fuse "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" with "Berformet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast".
  • This card also appears in a flashback Téa Gardner has when she remembers Yugi talking about "Maha Vailo" looking similar to him and having a great power inside its effect.

• In episode 104, Johnson uses this card during his Duel against Joey. He uses this card to fuse "Mystical Elf" with "Curtain of the Dark Ones" in order to Fusion Summon "Kamionwizard". In the next episode, Johnson activates another copy of this card to fuse "Armaill" with "One-Eyed Shield Dragon" in order to Fusion Summon "Dragoness the Wicked Knight".

• In episode 108, this card is seen in Kaiba's hand during his Duel against Leichter.

• In episode 109, this card appears in a flashback Leichter has when he explains to Seto that his treachery began when Gozaburo Kaiba gave him a large amount of dollars to test Seto's business skills.

• In episode 111, this card can be seen in Joey's hand during his Tag Duel with Yami Yugi against The Big Five. Joey is later forced to discard this card from his hand due to "Card Destruction". The Big Five also had this card in their hand, but they were forced to discard this card due to "Card Destruction". In the next episode, this card can be seen in Yugi's hand. In the following episode, Yugi activates this card to fuse his "Dark Magician" with Joey's "Flame Swordsman" in order to Fusion Summon "Dark Flare Knight".

• In episode 115, Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Noah Kaiba. He uses this card to fuse two "Thunder Dragons" in his hand together and Fusion Summon "Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon".

• In episode 118, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Noah. He uses this card to fuse Seto's three copies of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" together and Fusion Summon "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon".

Battle City Finals

• In episode 131, this card is seen in a series of flashbacks Kaiba has when he notes to himself that he always feels excited when he Duels against Yugi.

• In episode 132, this card can be seen in Kaiba's hand during his Duel against Yami Yugi. In the next episode, a unknown kid uses this card during a Dream Duel that Joey has. The unknown kid uses this card to fuse "Lesser Dragon" with "Steel Ogre Grotto 1" in order to Fusion Summon "Metal Dragon". In the following episode, Kaiba activates this card to fuse his "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" together and Fusion Summon "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon". Yugi then activates "Double Spell" to activate both Spell Cards that Kaiba activated this turn. First, Yugi uses the effect of "Monster Reborn" to revive "Buster Blader". Next, Yugi uses this card's effect to fuse "Dark Magician" with "Buster Blader" in order to Fusion Summon "Dark Paladin".

• In episode 137, Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Joey. He uses this card to fuse his two copies of "Thunder Dragon" together and Fusion Summon "Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon".

• In episode 140, Yami Marik uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He uses this card to fuse "Revival Jam" with "Metal Reflect Slime" (who had DEF equal to 3/4 of "Obelisk the Tormentor" and had the appearance of "Obelisk the Tormentor") in order to Fusion Summon "Egyptian God Slime".

Waking the Dragons

• In episode 148, this card appears in Yugi's thoughts when Yami Yugi notes that although Pegasus no longer has the Millennium Eye, he was the chosen one and he was the creator of Duel Monsters.

• In episode 156, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Rafael. He uses this card to fuse "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast".

• In episode 159, this card is shown when Weevil Underwood and Rex Raptor are taken to a vault within Paradius's headquarters that contains copies of every card in existence (with the exception of the Legendary Dragons and the Egyptian Gods).

• In episode 161, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Weevil. He uses this card to fuse "Gaia The Fierce Knight" with "Curse of Dragon" in order to Fusion Summon "Gaia the Dragon Champion". Later Rex Raptor uses this card during his Duel against Joey. He uses this card to fuse one of his "Gilasaurus" with "Kaitoptera" in order to Fusion Summon "Horned Saurus".

• In episode 163, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Yugi. He uses this card to fuse "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast". In the same Duel, this card is shown in Yugi's hand, but he discards it due to the effect of "Card Destruction".

• In episode 164, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against an Orichalcos Soldier. He uses this card to fuse "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast".

• In episode 177, Yami Yugi and Kaiba both use this card during their Tag Duel against Dartz. Kaiba activates this card to fuse his three "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" together and Fusion Summon "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon". Later Yami Yugi activates his copy to fuse "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" with "Black Luster Soldier" in order to Fusion Summon "Dragon Master Knight".

Grand Championship

• In episode 185, the KC Dueltek 760 uses this card during its duel against an unknown boy. After the Dueltek activates "DNA Surgery" to turn all monsters on the field into Dragon-type monsters, it activates this card to fuse "Battle Ox" with the four "Sheep Tokens" created by the effect of "Scapegoat" in order to Fusion Summon "Five-Headed Dragon".

• In episode 188, this card appeared in Joey's hand during his Duel against Solomon Muto while the latter was disguised as Apdnarg Otum.

• In episode 190, this card can be seen in Joey's hand during his Duel against Zigfried von Schroeder. Zigfried's copy can also be seen in his own hand during the same Duel, but Zigfried discards his copy in order to activate "Goddess Erda's Guidance".

• In episode 192, this card can be seen in Rebecca Hawkins' hand during her Duel against Leon von Schroeder. Rebecca later discards this card in order to activate "Tribute to the Doomed".

• In episode 193, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Vivian Wong. He uses this card to fuse "Dark Magician" with "Buster Blader" in order to Fusion Summon "Dark Paladin".

• In episode 196, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Leon. He activates this card to fuse "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast".

Dawn of the Duel

• In episode 200, Yami Bakura uses this card during his Duel against Kaiba. He uses this card to fuse "Headless Knight" with "The Earl of Demise" in order to Fusion Summon "The Duke of Demise".

• In episode 2, Jaden plays this card against Chazz Princeton. He uses it to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman". Chazz then activates his face-down "Chthonian Polymer" to take control of "Flame Wingman".

• In episode 3, Alexis Rhodes uses this card during her Duel against Jaden. She uses this card to fuse "Etoile Cyber" with "Blade Skater" in order to Fusion Summon "Cyber Blader".

Zane later activates his own copy to fuse his two "Cyber Dragons" together and Fusion Summon "Cyber Twin Dragon". After "Cyber Twin Dragon" destroys "Wroughtweiler" in battle, Jaden activates the effect of "Wroughtweiler" to add this card and "Clayman" from the Graveyard to his hand. Later Jaden activates this card to fuse "Clayman" with "Elemental Hero Bubbleman" in order to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Mudballman".

• In episode 13, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Wheeler. He uses this card to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman".

• In episode 14, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Jinzo. He uses this card to fuse "Clayman" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Rampart Blaster". After "Jinzo" attacks and destroys "Wroughtweiler", Jaden activates the effect of "Wroughtweiler" to return this card and "Clayman" from the Graveyard to his hand. On the last turn of the duel, Jaden activates this card to fuse "Clayman" with "Bubbleman" in order to Fusion Summon "Mudballman". This move causes the "Clay Wrap" equipped onto "Clayman" to be sent to the Graveyard. This activates the effect of "Clay Wrap", allowing Jaden to destroy "Amplifier". Since "Amplifier" was destroyed, its second effect activates, destroying "Jinzo".

• In episode 15, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Harrington Rosewood. He uses this card to fuse "Clayman" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Rampart Blaster".

• In episode 16, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against the Duel Giant. He uses this card to fuse "Clayman" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Rampart Blaster". Later Jaden activates another copy to fuse "Sparkman" with "Clayman" in order to Fusion Summon "Thunder Giant".

• In episode 17, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Damon. He uses this card to fuse "Clayman" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Rampart Blaster". After "Drawler" destroys "Wroughtweiler" in battle, Jaden activates the effect of "Wroughtweiler" to add this card and "Burstinatrix" from his Graveyard to his hand. On the last turn of the duel, Jaden activates this card to fuse "Burstinatrix" with "Avian" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman".
  • This card is also shown in a flashback going down a waterfall as part of Damon's training montage.

• In episode 18, Dimitri and Jaden both use this card during their Duel against each other while the former was using Yugi's Deck. Dimitri uses his copy to fuse "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast". Later Jaden activates his copy to fuse "Sparkman" with "Clayman" in order to Fusion Summon "Thunder Giant". After "Dark Magician" destroys "Wroughtweiler" in battle, Jaden uses the effect of "Wroughtweiler" to add this card and "Burstinatrix" from his Graveyard to his hand. In the next episode, Jaden activates this card to fuse "Burstinatrix" with "Avian" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman". On the last turn of the Duel, Jaden activates "Double Spell" to discard a Spell Card and use Dimitri's "Polymerization" from the Graveyard as his card, allowing Jaden to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" and Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman".

• In episode 20, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Blair Flannigan. He uses this card to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman".

• In episode 21, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Bastion Misawa. He activates this card to fuse "Avian", "Bubbleman" and "Sparkman" in order to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Tempest", but Bastion discards "Double Spell" in order to activate "Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell", negating the effect of this card and destroying it as well as forbidding Jaden from activating any other copies of this card for the remainder of the Duel. This prevented Jaden from summoning any Fusion Monsters for the remainder of the duel. Despite this, Jaden still managed to win the duel in the next episode.

• In episode 23, both Jaden and Belowski use this card during their Duel against each other. Jaden uses this card to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman". Later Belowski activates his own copy of this card to fuse his three "Mokey Mokeys" together and Fusion Summon "Mokey Mokey King".
  • This card can also be shown when Jaden is shown rebuilding his Deck.

• In episode 25, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Chazz. He uses this card to fuse "Sparkman", "Avian" and "Bubbleman" together and Fusion Summon "Tempest". After "Wroughtweiler" was destroyed by the effect of "Armed Dragon LV7", Jaden activates the effect of "Wroughtweiler" in order to add "Burstinatrix" and this card from his Graveyard to his hand. In the next episode, Jaden activates this card to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman".

• In episode 27, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Gravekeeper's Chief. He uses this card to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman".

• In episode 29, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Nightshroud. He uses this card to fuse "Burstinatrix" with "Clayman" in order to Fusion Summon "Rampart Blaster". In the next episode, Jaden activates "Fusion Sage" to add another copy of this card from his Deck to his hand. Jaden then activates this card to fuse "Sparkman" with "Clayman" in order to Fusion Summon "Thunder Giant". After "Wroughtweiler" is destroyed in battle by "Spear Dragon", Jaden uses the effect of "Wroughtweiler" to add this card and "Elemental Hero Wildheart" from his Graveyard to his hand. On the final turn of the Duel, Jaden activates this card to fuse "Wildheart" with "Elemental Hero Bladedge" in order to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Wildedge".

• In episode 33, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Camula. He uses this card to fuse "Sparkman", "Avian" and "Bubbleman" together and Fusion Summon "Tempest".

• In episode 34, both Jaden and Kaibaman use this card during their Duel against each other. Jaden uses this card to fuse "Clayman" with "Bubbleman" in order to Fusion Summon "Mudballman". Later Kaibaman activates this card to fuse his three "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" together and Fusion Summon "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon".

Later Alexis activates "Fusion Recovery" to add this card and "Etoile Cyber" from her Graveyard to her hand. This prevents Jaden from playing this card as well as prevent him from thinking about using any other strategy besides Fusion Summoning, Later Jaden draws this card during his Duel against Guardian Baou, but he still finds himself unable to play this card. In the next episode, Bastion and Tania tell him he must use this card in order to win the duel, but Jaden is still unwilling to do so due to the dark memories of the Supreme King haunting him, however he decides to use this card for an alternative strategy that will win him the duel. He then discards this card in order to activate "Revoke Fusion". Later Zane uses this card during his duel against Jesse Anderson while the latter was possessed by Yubel. He uses this card to fuse the two "Cyber Dragons" in his hand together and Fusion Summon "Cyber Twin Dragon".

• In episode 151, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Jesse while the latter was possessed by Yubel. Although the dark memories try to haunt Jaden again, he remembers Zane's duel with the Yubel-possessed Jesse and he gave it his all with his Fusion Monsters and the cards that were used to summon them. This is enough for Jaden to conquer the mental block that prevents him from playing this card and activating it. Jaden then uses this card to fuse "Avian" with "Bursinatrix" and Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman".

• In episode 153, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Yubel. He uses this card to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman". The second effect of "Spell Chronicle" then activates, placing a Chronicle Counter on itself. In the next episode, Jaden activates another copy to fuse "Elemental Hero Neos" with "Elemental Hero Plasma" (who was treated as "Rainbow Dragon" through its own effect) in order to Fusion Summon "Rainbow Neos". The second effect of "Spell Chronicle" then activates, placing a Chronicle Counter on itself.

• In episode 156, this card is shown in a flashback Hassleberry has when he remembers his first Duel against Jaden and notes to Alexis that what happened during her first Duel against Jaden was similar to what happened during his first Duel against Jaden.
  • This card is also shown in a flashback Chazz has when Alexis reminds him it was because of his first loss against Jaden that they were able to eventually able to get him back when he ran away. After "Rainbow Dragon" destroys "Tempest" in battle, this card is shown flying out of Jaden's Graveyard due to the attack's force. This purifies this card of the darkness that infected it (the darkness that infected this card came from "Arcana Force 0 - The Fool") and removes the dark spell Jaden was under. Jaden then sees that he was dueling Jesse and as such, the duel ends with no result.

  • Three copies of this card also appear in Paradox's explanation when he tells Yugi, Jaden, and Yusei that the reason why he came to the past was so that he could prevent his own bad future from happening. Yugi, Jaden, and Yusei disagreed with going along with Paradox's plan as Paradox's actions will destroy and ruin their eras in time since they revolved around Duel Monsters.
