"The Deadly Guardian!" is the ninety-sixth chapter of the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga. In its first English printing, it was numbered as the thirty-seventh chapter of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist. In the 3-in-1 edition, its number was changed to match the original Japanese printing.

Meikyû the Elder: 1700 Life Points
Meikyû the Younger: 1080 Life Points
The Meikyû Brothers have "Gate Guardian", "Monster Tamer", and "Labyrinth Wall"

Sets 2 cards.
Meikyû the Elder's turn
Attacks Flame Swordsman with "Sanga of the Thunder" (Part of "Gate Guardian"), Dark Yugi then activates "Mirror Force" to deflect the attack back to Gate Guardian. Meikyû the Elder then activates the barrier effect of "Suijin" which negates the effect of "Mirror Force" effect.
Katsuya Jonouchi's turn
Attacks "Kazejin" with "Flame Swordsman", then Meikyû the Elder activates the effect of "Suijin", blocking the attack. Meikyû the Elder then counter attacks and destroys "Flame Swordsman" (Jonouchi: 1600 → 1300 Life Points)
Dark Yugi's turn
Summons "Summoned Skull" and attacks Suijin. Meikyû the Younger attempts to activate the effect of "Suijin" but When "Suijin" counter attacked, it passed through one of Dark Yugi's "Magical Hats" which had "Spellbinding Circle" in it, paralyzing "Suijin" (Meikyû the Younger: 1080 → 780 Life Points).
Meikyû the Elder's turn
Activates "De-Spell" removing "Spellbinding Circle" from "Gate Guardian".
"Katsuya Jonouchi's turn
Summons "Red-Eyes Black Dragon". Dark Yugi then activates "Polymerization" combining "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" and "Summoned Skull" to Summon "Black Skull Dragon".
