Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist chapters

"Cross Purposes!", also known as "Cross Souls!!" is the one-hundred-and-eightieth chapter of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist and the two-hundred-and-thirty-ninth chapter of Yu-Gi-Oh!.

The semi-final match-ups will be decided by a four-way battle royal. The first two Duelists to lose will face each other.

Featured Duel: Seto Kaiba vs. Dark Marik vs. Dark Yugi vs. Katsuya Jonouchi

This Duel is a four-way battle royal. The order of players is decided by removing one monster from the Deck for the duration of the Duel, and the players with the monster that had the highest ATK will go first. Also, a player can defend an adjacent player, but the opponent will not take damage when this occurs.

The order is as follows: Seto Kaiba ("Masked Beast of Guardius ": 3300 ATK); Dark Marik ("Rekunga": 1700 ATK); Dark Yugi ("Feral Imp": 1300 ATK); and Katsuya Jonouchi ("Swordsman of Landstar": 500 ATK).

Turn 1: Kaiba
Kaiba draws. He Sets a card and Normal Summons "Vorse Raider" in Attack Position. (1900/1200)

Turn 2: Dark Marik
Dark Marik draws. He Normal Summons "Newdoria" in Defense Position. (1200/800)

Turn 3: Dark Yugi
Dark Yugi draws. He Normal Summons "Big Shield Guardna" in Defense Position (100/2600) and Sets a card.

Turn 4: Jonouchi
Jonouchi draws. Jonouchi's hand contains no Monster Cards. Jonouchi Sets a card.

Turn 5: Kaiba
Kaiba draws, then attacks Jonouchi directly with "Vorse Raider." Since Dark Yugi is adjacent to Jonouchi, he can defend him with "Big Shield Gardna." As he did so, Kaiba doesn't take damage.
