Catherine is the ex-fiancee and stage assistant of Arkana.
Biography
Catherine was the assistant to the famous stage magician, Arkana, who she became engaged to.
Arkana became injured after a dangereous trick went wrong, leaving his face permanently scarred. He became too ashamed to let Catherine see him in this state and in his anguish drove her away.
After she left, Arkana joined the Rare Hunters, where Marik Ishtar promised to reunite him with Catherine. He got Arkana to duel Yugi Muto and pretended to have Catherine waiting for him behind a curtain after he wins. However after the Duel, Arkana found out it had only been a dummy and Marik had been lying to him.
