In Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, Battle Ox had a Deck, which was not shown, as he was defeated off-screen. Unlike the other Number Guardians, he had no immediately obvious connection with the Barian tied to his ruins –Vector.
Speculation
Since Vector's past life was infamous for being alone, he had no suitable ally to serve as the Ruin's guardian. However, the Battle Ox seen in ZEXAL may actually be the same duel spirit seen in ancient Egypt, now acting as a Demonic or monstrous vessel for all the people Vector sent to death as a human.
